About Jade

Jade M. Wong is the pseudonym of real-life writer, fangirl, and struggling human. Armed with an NYC-infused childhood and dominant fangirl genes, Jade naturally stays up most nights battling inconvenient words and fantastical stories.

Jade is a Ravenclaw and Airbender, has trained Pokémon since her first Charmander, chills with Bucky when she’s not kicking butt with Agent Melinda May, prefers to travel in either the TARDIS or a 1967 Chevy Impala, and looks forward to the day Gandalf takes her on an adventure.

Why Write?

Jade writes because turning herself into words on a page and learning where she needs to revise and where she’s not doing so badly, that’s her medicine for, well, everything.

Where is Jade?

If Jade were a gazillionaire, she wouldn’t buy a mansion, just cozy apartments in every city she loves. In the meantime, she’s making do with cozy corners across the internet-sphere.

Visitors are always welcome. Visitors who come bearing sushi are even more so.

  4. Hello, Jade! I just checked the list of blogs that I follow and I notice that your blog isn’t on the list. I notice that the bar on the top of the page says that I am already following your blog but I have never accept any new post notification in my email. I pressed the “follow” button at the side of the home page several times but nothing changes. I think I’ll try again tomorrow.

    • Noooo…sigh WordPress and its glitches -_-. I just checked my list of followers and you are right there, no problem. If the problem keeps up, maybe you can unfollow and then refollow? I really hope the problem gets fixed >_<. Thanks for letting me know!

    • Yesssss. Mansions are seriously overrated. Like you said they’re horrendous to clean and do I really NEED 5000 bedrooms? What am I going to do, sleep in a different room every day for the rest of my life? We should really start a trend, Chris, and advocate buying cozy apartments across the globe haha xD

      I am indeed very much into Harry Potter (JkRowling is the Queen) but not so much into GoT. I’ve never read the books and I’ve seen the first season of the show, but dropped it after that. Doesn’t really do it for me, but I am told by fellow GoT lovers that I need to give it another chance lol

    • Thanks!! I’ll admit, it took me ages and you don’t even want to know what tagline ideas came before this. I’d prefer never to speak of those x_x lol

      I think you just have to stay true to yourself and your blog and what you want readers to take away from the getgo. Are you a quotes-lover? Putting a favorite quote (as long as it’s decently short) might be a good idea. It can also be simple like a bio, with a slight twist at the end, similar to how I did it, if you prefer that. I looked up so many taglines on so many blogs to see what I liked and didn’t like. Eventually, I think you’ll find the right one 🙂
